These low profile covers feature Magpul's TSP (Trapezoidal Surface Projections) texture and they install directly to most full and half size aluminum M-LOK hand guards (not compatible with polymer hand guards). The Half Slot Rail Covers were made to work in conjunction with Magpul's full size Type 2 rail covers. Their smaller size allows them to fill in the extra space left by the larger covers to fill in more of the handguard and offer greater personalization. Magpul M-LOK Type 2 Half Slot Rail Covers features beveled contours to minimize potential snagging and protruding only 1/8" above the mounting surface they are a low profile addition to your rifle.
