The SSA-X with Lightning Bow® trigger delivers the ultimate in trigger control, with a semi-curved, wide-body profile that combines the best features of the standard curved AR trigger and the popular flat-bow design. The SSA-X features a Nanocoated wide body trigger and Nanocoated Hammer, with a special Chrome Nitride disconnect that combines advancements in coating design to bring about the next evolution of the venerable SSA. These coatings dramatically enhance wear and corrosion resistance and keep the trigger running smooth and breaking clean even after heavy use with minimal lubrication. The SSA-X with Lightning Bow® trigger is a non-adjustable trigger, which is light enough for accurate and precise shots, but forgiving enough for dynamic close in work as well.
The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic SSA-X trigger is based on the SSA, a semi-automatic only version of Geissele Automatics’s Super Select-Fire trigger. The SSA-X is a non-adjustable duty rated trigger that is a precision two-stage trigger that allows precise and accurate trigger control. SSA-X's two-stage design allows the trigger to be light enough for accurate and precise shots, but forgiving enough for frenetic close in work.
