Step 4: Signatures
Verify that you are actually wanting to purchase this suppressor!
Once we've established your choice of Suppressor, and you've created all of the pertinent accounts, we can finally start the application process. A Vice Armory member will assign your selected suppressor to your SilencerShop.com account, at which time SilencerShop will begin drafting your form and inputting all the required info - So you don't have to try to understand the ATF's wonderful Form 4.
SilencerShop will email you a DocuSign agreement, stating that you are agreeing that your name and information is being used on a federal form to apply for a Tax Stamp, and all you have to do is Sign & Submit!
Step 5: Certification
Verification step to ensure 100% accuracy on your application prior to submission.
Certification is the last hands-on stage of your Suppressor Application, before you get approved.
Once your form is ready to certify, a Vice Armory Team Member will contact you to set-up a date and time (appointment required) for you to either come in to the shop, or remotely certify your application. This process typically only takes 10-15 minutes, but is crucial to ensuring that everything else during the process was done correctly and that you will get the fastest approval time possible.
You'll come in, look over your personal information, verify that you are the one certifying (by inputting that ATF E-Forms account information that we talked about), and off to the ATF it goes for approval!
Step 6: Approval!
We hope to see you soon for your new suppressor! - Jake
When the time comes, you'll receive an email directly from the ATF that let's you know your "Status has been changed to APPROVED".
That's the best email you'll ever receive! At that time, a Vice Armory Team Member will contact you at their earliest opportunity, and let you know you are cleared to come in and take home your suppressor! Some minor paperwork is required at the time of pick-up, and typically only takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
